Marian Michie is a Cuban-American soprano residing in Leipzig, Germany. A graduate of The Florida State University, she has performed in a diverse repertoire of opera and musical theater. She made her professional debut with the Florida Grand Opera singing roles in various productions including La Rondine and Luisa Fernanda. Ms. Michie has portrayed principal roles in productions including Cendrillon, Die Zauberflöte, Trouble in Tahiti, The Mikado, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Nine, Seussical the Musical, The Secret Garden and A Little Night Music. Since moving to Germany, she has performed in concert at venues including Schloss Dölkau, Oper Leipzig, the Sächsische Sängerakademie and the Berlin Opera Academy. In 2024 she will perform throughout Europe with FKP Show Creations’ arena tour of Verdi’s Aida as a member of the Hanseatic chorus and orchestra.
